Your first week
The ten onboarding tasks in order — what each one teaches, and why it sits where it does.
Your Progress hub hands you a task list when you sign up. It is not a checklist for its own sake: the order is the argument. Situational awareness first, then the framework, then the habits that compound, then the people.
Work through it in order and do not rush. Go slow to go fast — the point of the first week is not to touch every feature, it is to start the loop you will still be running in six months.
Tasks 1 to 7 are on every account. Tasks 8 to 10 unlock with Pro.
1. Set up your trading profile
Your trading profile is the foundation of everything SignalP shows you. It tells us your experience level, the products you trade, and how you prefer to take signals so we can surface the setups that fit your style and skip the ones that do not.
Take two minutes to fill it out honestly. The more accurate it is, the sharper every recommendation and course becomes.
It is first because everything after it is personalized by it. Head to your Profile tab.
2. Open the Quicksheet
The Quicksheet is a daily snapshot of the levels and ranges the SignalP team is watching right now. It is designed to give you situational awareness in under a minute, so you walk into the session knowing where price needs to be for trades to trigger.
Make checking it part of your pre-market routine. Traders who look at it daily tend to catch setups earlier and avoid getting caught wrong-footed when key levels break.
Open the Quicksheet.
3. Browse the Signal Feed
Each signal in the feed is built around the 4 Questions framework — the same questions an experienced trader asks before every entry. Scrolling through the feed is not just about finding trades; it is training your eye to recognize the structure behind a good setup.
Read a few signals end-to-end even when you do not plan to take the trade. The pattern recognition compounds.
Open the Signal Feed.
4. Write your first Aha! Note
Insight without capture is insight lost. One sentence is enough. The traders who grow fastest are the ones who journal even when nothing dramatic happened.
This is the first of the four daily-loop habits, and the cheapest one to start. Open your Journal.
5. Explore the Playbook presets
The Playbook presets — IBGW, 3REV, DATR, TRCT — are not four random strategies. They are four repeatable situations the market hands traders almost every day.
Your job over the coming weeks is to find your anchor trade: the one preset that fits your temperament and session. Mastering one is worth more than dabbling in all four, and you discover it from your own data rather than picking it up front.
Explore the Playbook.
6. Schedule a 30-minute Insight Session
A free 30-minute call with the SignalP team to map the fastest path for your goals, schedule, and account size. It sits here deliberately — by now you have seen enough of the platform to ask a specific question rather than a general one.
7. Join us in Discord
Two steps: link your Discord account in Settings, then accept the invite and actually join the server. Your role applies automatically once you are in, and this task completes itself once both steps are done.
The full walkthrough, including the step almost everyone misses, is on Joining the Discord community.
The three tasks below are Pro-only.
8. Start PATHWAY Course 1
PATHWAY is the methodology behind every signal. Following signals without understanding the why is how traders get shaken out on the first drawdown — the courses close that gap.
It leads the Pro block because it is the thing that makes the other two worth doing. Head to PATHWAY.
9. Save your first signal
Saving turns the shared feed into your own library — a personal record of the setups you actually take, and the raw material for your analytics later.
Save one that matches how you want to trade, even if you are only paper trading it. Open the Signal Feed.
10. Log a practice trade
Log practice trades for risk-free reps, then grade them. You get the same analytics as a live trade — win rate, R-multiple, preset performance — without risking a dollar while your process is still forming.
Aim for five before you size up. Open My Signals.
What the order is teaching you
Tasks 4, 9 and 10 are the daily loop in miniature: save, journal, learn, grade. Run it every session and it feeds itself — the journal supplies the raw material, the grades separate what worked from what you got away with, and the analytics do the counting once there is enough data.
On Pro, that loop also earns points, which come back off your subscription. See Points and rewards for what each rep is worth.
For the method underneath all of it, read the Trading Guide.
