Joining the Discord community

Some of the best learning on SignalP happens in the community. Members share setups, talk through losses, and hold each other accountable in real time — and it all lives in our Discord server.

There are two steps, and almost everyone stops after the first. Linking without joining is how people end up paying for a room they are not standing in.

Step 1 — link your account

Go to Settings and link Discord. It is an OAuth flow: you authorize SignalP from Discord's own screen, and you never send us a password or a username. It takes about a minute.

Step 2 — accept the invite and join the server

Linking tells us who you are on Discord. It does not put you in the room. After linking, accept the invite and actually join the SignalP server.

This is the step that gets skipped, and it is invisible when it goes wrong: your account looks connected on the Settings page while you are not in the server and are seeing none of the conversation.

Your role applies automatically

Once you are both linked and present in the server, your member role is applied for you, based on your plan. There is no ticket to open and nothing to ask for — role-gated channels simply appear.

The same is true in reverse: the role follows your plan, so it updates on its own when your plan changes.

The onboarding task completes itself

Join Us in Discord is one of the tasks on your Progress hub. You do not need to mark it done. It completes automatically once you are both linked and confirmed present in the server — which makes it a useful check on whether step 2 actually worked. If the task is still open, you are not in the room yet.

• Live trade discussion while the session is running
• Signal breakdowns, including the ones that did not work out
• Direct feedback from the team
• Ad hoc sessions, which get announced there and nowhere else
